Downloadable Music Editor???

Does anybody know of a decent music editor which can be downloaded on the net. I'm trying to find a program that can cut out unwanted stuff out of a song.

If anyone's heard the mp3 of Scott Stapp singing Light My Fire with the Door's there's about one and a half minutes of some guys jabbering on and on and about three minutes of talking after the song finishes. I want to burn the song on a disk but there's a good 4 minutes of people just talking and I want to edit that out. Can anybody help out or already have an edited mp3 of Light My Fire w/ Stapp.

I think you can cut stuff out with the Windows Recorder program.
