I see where you're coming from, Dan, because I feel that way to a certain extent too. But I really don't think I'd want to know because I'd rather enjoy every day for what it is and do my best to live to the best of my ability. Like Jen said, I think if I knew, I'd be thinking about it all of the time.

I don't think I'd want to know. I'm with the others, it'd be nice to get everything done that I wanted to get done, but too sad as the days drew closer. And I'd also like to pose this question. Would you want to know HOW you were going to die?

no Dan i wouldnt want to know when i was going to die
or how i was going to die. if a dr.told me i had cancer i would get really depressed and that would inturn probably make the cancer accelerate. and kill me quicker. that is one reason i dont go to drs. i dont want to be told i have something that will kill me. cause i personaly couldnt handle it.

Very interesting question and very good answers. I personally do not want to know when the time would be upon me. I live my life to the fullest that I can each and every day. My family knows how much I love them and we live life one day at a time. I was extremely sick last year and these thoughts crossed my mind. Have I done what I want to do in life? Do my children know that if I were to leave this earth tomorrow that I love them? Alot of questions came to mind during this time and that caused me to change my life.
I wouldn't want that ticking clock constantly in the back of my head because that would fog my vision to the point that I feel I would fail to completely concentrate and absorb all that is around me in the present. I do not fear death because it is part of life. My biggest fear is harm to my children.......

I'm so sorry to hear you had such a tough time last year, Blaize. But it sounds like you're doing well now and that's great news.
Teri, to answer you're question - No, I don't think I'd want to know how I will die either.
