Help me figure out who sings this song

I have a song I downloaded onto a CD, and I want my friends in the band to play it, but I can't remember, for the life of me, who sings it. I thought, thought, it was from a band that opened for Creed in 2002, but I think that's not true. HELP!

that song is titled "Everything." if you're looking for a boot from a concert, i can't help you there, but i do have a regular ol' mp3.

on a side note, if you're ever trying to find out an unknown artist, and you have the lyrics, just google exact phrases (i.e. actually type, in the quotes, "i remember you" "14th of july"), or, if the lyrics are difficult to understand, type in a handful of single words that you can make out (i.e.
remember july motorcycle bones everything). the trick with this second method is that you'll have to use more words to narrow down the results, and usually, the more obscure the word is, the easier it is to narrow down.
