Hi everyone...
Could it be Stapp's fault? Is it becuase of Stapp the album will take that long time? I mean, they says that the album might come out at Sep 4th. That's almost a year. I've heard this, but I don't know if someone can prov it. • Stapp was at a Pool-party and got a blow-job by a pornstar • Stapp drogged himself away I don't know if someone can prov that Stapp got that blow-job or took those drogs, but I know that a bitch drived all over his car... Anyway. No one can prov the blow-job, right? And it doesn't have to be drogs, it could be just alcohol or some other shit. Anyway...I'm worried for Stapp. Does Stapp start to losing grownd? //THE LITHIUM

first of all.... i dont think any of us could prove it... maybe the police or sumthin... 2nd it would be disturbing if it was true...because i dont think that's stapp's character....at least not his character from the last few years....maybe oldskool college stapp....i hope he hasn't gone back to the dark side....
that being said... if the album is delayed... then the album is delayed...LIFE IS NOT OVER.... there will be new CREED material sometime....

Yeah, I do really hope that he hasn't! That would break my heart!!

it's important the quality of the songs and the album, not the time it'll took for recording.whatever the reason is the album to be delayed,i can wait coz it's worth waiting

I don't care how long it takes as long as it's good. Think about the last year and half they had. They went full tilt and had a bit of stress, good and bad along the way...Mark's mother dying, Mark getting married, Flip's becoming a dad, Scott's accident/voice/health woes. I think they need to live a little, step back, try to have as normal a life as they can, recharge the batteries. Writers always get that urge to express eventually. I don't think Creed are any different. Hell, Jerry Cantrell went four years in between albums, writing and recording all the way. I'll tell ya, the wait was long, but so worth it. His last album was incredible.

I hate to say it, but Nickelback's album came out fairly quickly, but for the most part it is a rehashing of Silver Side Up. Should we ask Creed to rush their next CD just to get a rehashing of Weathered?

Good God, no! Not that I hate Weathered or anything, but it's my least favorite of the three.

Steve makes a good point their new album is really a heavier version of Silver Side Up, Nickelback haven't really progressed very much. Any accusations about Stapp's personal life until anything is obvious is pure conjecture and i'm sure he wouldn't bring any girls (apart from serious girlfriends) when his son is there.
We shouldn't even be discussing his personal life, let them live and while the wait is too long if they are recording in Janurary hopefully the album will be out before September the 4th.

How about the DVD while we wait??
Something....anything.... I don't care when the new album comes out. The main concern all of us has I'm sure is to have a healthy band in mind, body and soul. They need time and I'm OK with that. would love that DVD though. That shouldn't be too hard to pull off, should it? |

Not sure what's going on with Scott, and I don't think it's any of our business. I pray that he and the rest of the band are safe.

My thoughts exactly, Dogstar. I think it's great that they are taking some time off for themselves. Am I anxious for new music? Absolutely, but I'm willing to wait. I was just saying yesterday that I want them to be around making music for a long time so I'm willing to be patient so they can live a normal life like the rest of us and make great music without feeling rushed.

Let them take their time. The boys will know when to release their next CD. Rush it, and you get an inferior album. But time it just right and you can get another MOP or better it!
