Lyrics might be cheesy but yet still funny, nothing too serious.
Nevertheless what I really liked was his vocals in the verses, especially the parts in two voices. His vocals sound very clear and controlled. Compared to the chorus, which is obviously just the original one, they really stood out to me. They just don't sound as forced and compressed as the vocals in the chorus.
As far as I can tell as a German, National Anthem sounded good as well. So he really seems in good shape these days. Didn't he say his next solo album is gonna be the "record of his life"? I'm curious about it.

He's also using vibrato like he used to which makes me happy... he just seems more "in control" now, THANK YOU GOD!

Yes He Did FD he did state that this solo record would be the record of his life i,ll be the first in line to admit The Great Divide i was a like ok with a few songs give or take but really but not over all the entire album it was really rushed but one thing praise god you,ll never find of stapps wrting and music is chessy hes going put out good solo record got a great prouducer and a lot of support PEACE BE WITH YOU And

AMEN AND AMEN yes PRAISE JESUS vocal works out are killer 10 15 minutes a day everyday goes a long a way ....
