My world, my life, my everything Has burned to ashes and they smolder A pile of good intent and promises unfulfilled Lay beneath my feet And I mourn And all I wanted was that one simple touch Just one more memory I could lay to waste and forget One last smile to tug at my heart and then rip it out Leaving bloodstains and no room to explain I don't need another empty promise again You were full of them and I was full of love That I no longer have the courage to give out Because of all that you let me believe But now,I continue to grieve through it all My love has past and that cold is finally burning me.
