Blindside kicks hella arse. There's another guy on here, Matt (TremontiWanaB or Wylde-Tremonti... I can't remember which he is anymore), but he doesn't post much here anymore, but he's a huge Blindside fan. Actually, on their album Satellite, P.O.D. did a song, "Anything Right," with Blindside's vocalist Christian Lindskog doing bgv's. It's one of my favorite songs... evar! But I've purchased Blindside's latest 3 albums (The Great Depression, About a Burning Fire, and Silence), and have downloaded their 2 prior to that (A Thought Crushed My Mind and Blindside). I think they actually recently rereleased these 2 (or maybe they're planning to in the near future). Anyway, good stuff, for sure.

Yeah, I think Blindside is the most famous swedish rock band. Although they're not doing so well here in Sweden! But I really get the feeling they diss Sweden a little bit. For what I know they're only gonna play a few shows here in Sweden this whole tour. Suck ass... We have 2 other pretty big rock atcs: Hammerfall, which is heavy metal, and Prime STH, which I am a big fan of. Don't know of you ever heard if other swedish rockbands like Stereolith or Blowsight?
Prime (STH) plays here in Stockholm at least one time every mouth. Often it's VERY cheap or sometimes FREE!!!! Although they are a pretty big band, they just love their hometown! Stockholm is mine, Prime's, Blindside's, Stereolith's and Blowsight's hometown!! I'm proud of it!

I don't think I've ever mentioned Hammerfall, 'cause I don't listen to them that much, but I love Prime STH!! I may have recommanded them to you, 'cause I know I have to a lot of people here!
I love rock music from STOOOCKHOLM!!!

I've only heard a few songs of Blowsight, but they're really good. It's just hard to get your dirty little hands on their stuff! But I saw Stereolith open for 3 Doors Down this summer! They were awesome!

Hey Blindside have played in my hometown for ages ago! They played at missoinskyrkan in Falkenberg called Tullbrogården before I knew about them though, my friends friend know them two :P
(Friend of a friend of a friend of a friends friend know them :P) But any way, the reason I think they diss sweden is becouse they don't want to be big here, they want this as a place to hide... I actualy own Blowsights demo albume She Devil, pretty good soft rock. I hate Hammer Fall, they suck! :P But they're damn good musicans! Never heard of Prime (STH) though... Never heard of Stereolith either... www.aboutaburningfire.com and you'll come to Blindsides page

Prime STH stands for Prime Stockholm. They wanted to call themselves Prime, but it was already taken. So they added STH to it, and kept the name Prime.

blindside has a dvd out thats really awsome. it traces their roots from the beginning , has all there music videos, 2 concerts.
there a band that has really matured and stylistically each album is different. The great depression is one of the most diverse, original, unradio friendly albums ive heard in a while. |

and Im not sure if they consider themselves a christian band but their lyrics reflect christian thought and on their dvd they talk about praying and finding God. if they are christian there liberal christians because they do drink beer and use the a word on the dvd.

yeah, they are a christian band... if i'm not mistaken, they've played Cornerstone Music Festival (it's basically a Christian Woodstock, held in the middle of nowhere in Illinois) a couple of times, if I'm not mistaken.
