wolves and gingerbreadmen

I have no idea if this has any possible meaning to be derived. If anyone sees a theme let me know and Ill try to expound upon it. some of it is about my struggles with shyness and social anxiety disorder and avoidant personality disorder .

sometimes I think myself into a box
cradle the bondage of a defeating thought
walk around in a cage keeps me inside my mind
bound by chains a slave to safety

If Im a star, then I must be hiding
in a black hole , refusing to shine
if im a spark , will I ever ignite
be more than a flame amoung fires

All my life I've waited in line
now I've got to step out, find a new way inside
theres an open window into your den
filled with wolves and gingerbreadmen.

I think it was ok untill the gingerbreadmen part.

well no i just think the gingerbreadmen part gave it an alternative twist

ok I figured it out. the wolves are those that would do us harm and the gingerbreadmen are extroverted, cocky, adored people.

so like in other words gingerbreadmen is another word for pains in the ass that are adored
