True. Depends though, Guy has to show he can expand his audience, maybe try different directions with his music. He has great voice and seems to very creative so I have no doubt he can do it. On a personal note I dislike his music very much but can respect what hes trying to do.

I don't know how well-known these guys are, but I picked up an album today by the Black Keys, They are from Ohio, by the looks of the liner notes. It's called Rubber Factory and I would describe them as blues rock, kind of in the vein of Clapton. I heard a little Beatles influence and even some Kinks (they include a Kinks cover (!) ). Anyway, it's basically two guys doing everything and they kick some ass. I highly recommend them.

yep i know of the black keys and they are not too bad at all. i'm not sure if the average creed fan would be into them but anyone with a bit of an open-mind could appreciate them.

I haven't had time to look up any info on them yet, but I think they are pretty talented. Are they new or have they been around a while. From the liner notes, there's a credit to a friend who died in 2004 and he was 25, so I'm guessing they are around the same age? Dunno, though.

Yeah, this one was in a sale bin at the Virgin Megastore in New York City. I spent the day in the city and way too long in the record store, hehehe.

Lol there is a Virgin Megastore in Melbourne as well. Richard Branson came down with all his usual antics which was a bit of a laugh. How far away is Philly from New York?

It's about 2 hours or so. I drive to the train station about 40 minutes away and then take a train in. It's way easier than driving. Driving is insane in NYC, lol. I love looking at all the imports and vinyl and what-not. It's fun just browsing. I can never get out of there without dropping some coin, though, hehee.

Hahaha, same here. Most of my extra cash goes for music (including concerts), books and trips. No, I can't do that every day, hehe. I go several times a year, though, maybe seven or eight. It's fun. I'm going back in February to see a Broadway show based on Monty Python. It's called Spamelot, hehehe.
