Can Alter Bridge Equal the Task?

Creed as we know has recorded three classic cd's. The last two as good as they were, particularily HC, were compared to MOP and nearly, but not quite made the mark. I wish Alter Bridge all the success and will most likely purchase the cd. The thing is though, they'll have an uphill battle, compared to Creed, with MOP as the benchmark.

I would like to think that they could be regarded as their own band, all new, but the comparisons to Creed will be inevitable. I think, if it had to be compared, Alter Bridge will sound most like MOP Creed. But in a way, I can also see it being kinda Virgos-ish -- Myles just makes me think of Brett for some odd reason, as far as being a lead vocalist goes. Which brings up another point -- I miss Brett and hope he gets into some kind of band somewhere other than just producing, but I guess it's his choice. I thought he was a great front man for Virgos and I was actually hoping we could have had a Brett-Mark-Flip-Brian combo for AB. But.... only time will tell, I suppose.
