I'm back! :)
hey guys! I missed y'all even though I wasn't gone that long. I see y'all got some new smilies. Well here is an update about all that has happened....my grandma sadly passed away on Friday March 26 in the hospital. She got moved up on to the 3rd level of the hospital b/c that is the level were they put all the patients who are going to nursing homes or are either not going to make it. On saturday, we had a rosary just for the family. That was one of the worst days. My mom, aunt and me just completely broke down crying when we saw my grandma in her casket for the first time. They had put on her favorite dress and necklace. They also put on a ring that my mom and aunt gave her for mothers day. On sunday we had another rosary except this was open to anyone. A lot of people showed up and the entire place was packed. On monday we buried her. It was so heart wrenching when they told us to say our last goodbyes to her before they closed the casket. Then we proceeded to the church for the mass where, my borther, cousin and I all read. On Tuesday I went back to school ( I really didn't feel like it) and all my friends gave me hugs and made me feel a lot better. After school, I went to go visit my grandmas grave and on top of it, they had put all of these beautiful flowers that some of our family and friends had sent. Now we have to begin the long process of cleaning up her house and gathering all her things to either keep or give to a charity. Once my mom entered my grandmas house , she started crying b/c she was never used to it being so empty and unlively before. I really miss her and I know that I'm going to feel like this for a long, long time; however, I know she is happier where she is b/c she is with my grandpa now. Also, I just gained another guradian angel so I'm really lucky.
To end on a happier note, I got asked to prom after I got back so I kind of have a feeling my grandma had something to do with it. She's already working miracles for me.

Glad to see you back Alisha. Sorry to hear of your Grandma. I hate having to go to things like that and see the casket, especially the body too. Just like I hate funeral parlors, caskets and urns in general, and cemetaries after dark. You know that if I were there you'd get a million
Congrats on being asked to the prom. BUT, remember, no other guy can kiss you this well ! Only me. H-D

Thanks Collin, yeah those funeral things I am not big on, but this was something that I had to do for my grandma. And yes, I do know that no other guy can kiss as well as you do.

Alisha, I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandma. You do have a great way of looking at it though. She is happy with your Grandpa and you have another Guardian Angel to watch over you. This is how I felt when I lost my Grandma. It's been five years now but you always remember. I loved her sooo much and my daughter is named after her. It will be a really rough time but seeing is how strong you already are you'll get through it fine. She sounds like she was a great lady and you were very lucky to experince her presence in your life. Just know that you have wonderful support from your family and friends. You also have us , your Creedfeed family for a shoulder to lean on! Glad to see you back and Good luck with the prom. Grandma's and Grandpa's have a way of making miracles happen for a long time to come.

Hi Alisha!
Welcome back girl! I am so sorry about your Grandma But I'm sure she is still with you even though you can't see her hun. Thats cool that you got asked to prom! On this note, my sister in laws mom Teresa passed away this past Friday They said that she had been suffering a lot over the past couple of weeks and she just decided that she didn't want to take anymore of it. Her funeral is Friday but we won't be able to make it, cuz my brother had already asked to have Monday off. But they are having a memorial party for her sometime this spring, so I'm hoping we can go to that. They are also planting a memorial garden at the house in her memory and are getting an engraved memorial stone to put in the garden as well. Teresa always had been a gardener and she had the most beautiful one every year. She loved planting flowers and doing things in the yard! So that would make her happy! Its scary how fast cancer can take someone

Thanks you guys, I appreciate all of the prayers you have said.
Julie, I'm sorry to here about Teresa. She sounds a little bit like my grandma b/c she loved to garden. My grandma planted this beautiful Izalia (sp?) plant in her front yard and the day we buried her, it blossomed and it just looks spectacular! I really think that I have actually grown from this experience because I learned to let go of someone that I really loved. I remember at the hospital, a few days before my grandma passed away, I just broke down crying b/c I didn't want her to leave, I wanted her to stay as long as possible. Then my mom hugged me and said that I need to let go and just leave it all up to God. And Weathered Woman, I did miss posting new bands.

Alisha, so sorry to hear about your grandma; you sound like you've been taking comfort in all the nice memories you have of her.
Julie, sorry to hear about Teresa; at least they both are at peace now. God Bless you and your families.

I'm so, so sorry to hear that. My prayers are still with you and your family while you greive. She did indeed sound like a great person, and the two of you had a close relationship. That's one thing in life that everyone should have with someone!
Congrats on your prom. Good Luck when you go, and have a good time!
