Well it's good to know someone else from my neck of the woods. I was born and raised here myself.
I was just on the CreedFeed Fest 2003 thread and I was real bummed. I joined CreedFeed a little too late to be involved with that. ~Kim

Kim, I don't think it's too late. As long as you can get a plane ticket and a room reserved, we'd love to have you join us!! You might want to check with TeriB19 to be sure. In my opinion, the more the merrier and I'd love to meet you!!

Believe me I would LOVE to be there but the bank doesn't agree with me on short notice. It needs more time.

I understand. Fortunately, I'm using some of the money I got back from Uncle Sam to help me out with the trip. The others already know the story but so that you're up to speed I'll share it with you. I wasn't going to go myself but when I saw that it was at the end of May, May 30 - June 1 to be exact, I knew it was fate. My birthday is May31st!!! Smack dab in the middle of the weekend so I couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday then with some of my great CreedFeed friends.

That's an awsome way to spend your birthday. But unfortunately for me Uncle Sam's money was already spent before I joined here.
But on a better note, I spent my husband's and my dating anniversary with Creed. At the concert anyway. The one at the Meadows back in July. I suppose I'll just have to hang on to that memory.

I'm so upset that I missed that concert. I just started a new position at work and I didn't think it was a good idea to ask for the day off from work the day after the concert. After I saw them live for the first time this past NYE in Philadelphia, I slept a whole two hours, LOL!!! Obviously, there would have been no way for me to function the next day at work on two hours of sleep if I had to do that after the show last summer. Believe me, during their next tour, I'm planning to see them as often as my wallet will allow!!
How was the concert? I think that's a great way to spend your anniversary, especially if your husband's a fan too.

That was my first Creed concert. They were INCREDIBLE!! But would you expect anything less. I don't know if you have been to the Meadows but I was in the pavillion and about 4 rows from the lawn which sucked. But I was there. I'm glad they had the big screen otherwise I would have been crying. I told my husband we have to start saving now for the next tour cuz there is NO WAY I'm going to be that far away again! I'm a stay at home mom but my husband had to work the next day. It wasn't too bad. We only live about 40 minutes from the Meadows so we got home at a fairly decent time.
I'm so glad there are people to talk to here. My husband is getting a little tired of hearing about it. And my friends already think I'm certifiable. Where in CT do you live?

I know what you mean, sometimes I think my friends are ready to send for the guys in the white coats too.  And I only discovered them late winter/early spring of 2002!! I never heard any of their music on the radio stations around here until last year! I don't know if I was listening to the wrong stations or what but since last year, my life hasn't been the same!! So you can come here and talk to me and the everyone else any time.
I live in Bloomfield, near the towns of West Hartford and Simsbury. How about you, which town are you from?

Hi, creedman!!! It's great to have you here.
Fortunately, I have some friends that like them too not with the same intensity that I do but that's what is so great about the bbs, you can meet people from all over the world who enjoys the same music.

Re: Anyone from CT?
I am back in CT after having spent 11 or so years in Philly (originally from Rhode Island, but I joined this board when I was in PA). I am in Manchester now. Any more Connecticut folks around?
