I am just curious to why Myles wears a dog tag.
Thanks |

This was discussed before on ABB.net. I think, if I remember right, someone asked him before a show in the parking lot and he said it has his wife's name on it? (or someone else's name).

I feel sorry for his wife...lol just a joke, if I was his wife I wouldn't want to have him carrying around a necklace with my name on it, it would freak me out.... sorry I'm in a kidding mood, don't take me seriously

right. see, now it's one thing to post stuff about not liking alter bridge and all that junk from the other thread, but this is just stupid. what the fuck is the point? i mean, joking or not, this is just distasteful and will only start shit on here and get people pissed off. i happen to have met her a couple of times after some alter bridge shows and she's one of the sweetest people i've ever met. the weirdos are out in full force today! with this and the crap from abb.net...wow! well that title is really just a handle for it so they know what to play when they say, "hey let's play that song...you know that one song." it's an instrumental.
ahavo rabo is the 5th mode of the harmonic minor scale. It means the scale is derived from the harmonic minor scale, in the same way that the regular modes are derived from the major scale. This scale is more often called Phrygian Dominant, because of the flat 2nd, like the Phrygian mode, and the natural 3rd and flat 7th like a dominant (7th) chord. Any scale can spin off modes. You just keep the step structure the same. For instance, if the song is in the key of E and I'm playing E harmonic minor, starting with B and going up the scale from B to B it's still E harmonic minor. If the song were in B and I played the same notes exactly, it is now B "Ahavo Rabo". the taco salad part comes in cause it has this sort of spanish style break down in the middle so, being the funny guys they are, they just said taco salad. |
