What bands are in your playlist at the moment?

Ok, so we all have our standards, but then there are the bands that catch fire for a while. Right now, some new-for-me bands that I'm into are Volbeat, Ghost (saw them open for Opeth) and Chevelle (actually, I loved their first couple of albums and then I didn't like them, but now I'm back with Hats Off to the Bull).

What are some of yours?

Some of the more recent music I've added to my own Media Player list is by Whom Gods Destroy... I admit to being biased considering I'm related to two members of the band and have known the third member for close to 25 years....

What kind of music do they play, VJ?

Old school metal... Their influences include Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden and Ronnie James Dio. Not my usual style of music (I listen to mostly rock and hard rock) but I like their stuff.

At the moment I have Hanna Pestle with her For the Sky EP, Metallica with Master if Puppets and a new instrumental that I found by Death called Voice of the Soul.

Very cool on Whom Gods Destroy, VJ.

Lately, I have been spinning:
How to Destroy Angels
Steven Wilson solo stuff
Trent Reznor sound tracks (Social Network, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Quake)

Re: What bands are in your playlist at the moment?

Yikes, this thread is old.
I have added some newer music to my most recent playlists. Jinjer, a metal band, is my new favorite at the moment. I've also been into AIC a lot lately. I saw them last week in Boston. It was the tour opener, and they were on fire. I'm also listening to lots of Floater, as they, too, are coming out with a new album. A Perfect Circle's new record also is getting regular spins. It's mellower than some of their older material, but it's sweet. Maynard's vocals sound great.

Love George Thorogood! I saw him ages ago in a small bar in Newark, Delaware, before he really hit it big. It was a pretty cool show.

The back suspension adds to a one-piece crossmember and involves a lower arm, toe control arm, trailing arm which finds the lower arm, knuckle and upper arm.
