Wether or not you believe in the 10 Commandmets... the 6th commandment states: "Thou shalt not kill." Killing does not just mean murdering another person. Suicide is killing yourself. Suicide is also murder. The robbing of a life. Even though the people at the concert aren't actually doing the killing, they're not stopping it when they know it's happening. It's just as wrong to watch it for entertainment as it is to actually do it. No person who commits suicide will make it into the kingdom of Heaven. There are no murderers in heaven.

OK, so maybe you're right about that... perhaps I shouldn't have used that as an example. But even if you don't believe in the 10 commandments, you should believe in the laws of the land. I don't mean just the United States; murder is illegal in every country as far as I am aware of, the the possible exception of the Middle East. But it's still the same... suicide is murder, murder is illegal. It is still the stealing of a life.

Title: Waste

You mother came up to me
She wanted answers only she should know
Only she should know

It wasn't easy to deal
With the tears that rolled down her face
I had no answers 'cause
I didn't even know you

But these words
They can't replace
The life you...
...the life you waste

How could you paint this picture?
With life as bad as it should seem
That there were no more options for you
I can't explain how I feel
I've been there many times before
I've tasted the cold steel of my life crashing down before me

But these words
They can't replace
The life you...
...the life you waste

Did Daddy not love you?
Or did he love you just too much?
Did he control you?
Did he live through you at your cost?
Did he leave no questions for you to answer on your own?

WELL FUCK THEM!
AND FUCK HER!
AND FUCK HIM!
AND FUCK YOU!
For not having
The strenght in your heart
To pull through!
I've had doubts!
I have failed!
I've fucked up!
I've had plans!
Doesn't mean
I should take
My Life
With my own hands

But these words
They can't replace
The life you...
...the life you waste

But these words
They don't replace
The life you...
THE LIFE YOU WASTE

suicide is such a waste of life. I do have to say though, most people that do commit suicide or atempt to are severly depressed and really can't see any way out. It is a cowards why out of life but they really don't see it that way. Some think the people they love or that love them are better off without them, they are not thinking clearly. As for terminally ill people, that is another story. I still think it is a cowards way out. But I can also understand them not wanting to suffer in pain anylonger. Actually, most cancer patients die of a morphine over dose at the end from the pain they are in......... So in a way it is suicide anyway you look at it.
