I'm with Hayley on this one. Have to go with WTLF. It makes me cry, too. But Faceless Man and What If are right behind.

Well, WTLF is my favorite Creed song....but I really love the lyrics to What If so I went with that one. I wish we could pick more than just one!!!

I met Mark at the Richmond guitar signing June 7. One of the questions I asked him was which of the all the CREED songs was his favorite TO PLAY? I was curious...........
It's "Say I..." |

Lemme get this straight... you ask for our opinion - which is entirely independent (unless you watch FoxNews) - and then criticize it? Was the purpose of this thread an attempt to (pretentiously) throw your apparently superior opinion out? For your information, and I apologize to all other Creed fans here, there exists a large library of songs by innumerable recording artists with better lyrics than "What If," both poetically and musically speaking.

You come to this thread and have the nerve to throw out your opinion? How arrogant and FoxNews-like! Well, buddy, I think you overplayed this thing a bit too much. This is a Creed message board, and when the thread's subject is "Best Lyrics," everyone (well, almost) knows that means "Best CREED Lyrics." It's ok, though. But FYI -- and I appologize to anyone who has the nerve to disagree with me, the Great One -- I think What If has the best lyrics of any song I've heard.

I have to agree with JenRN, MOP is THE song that lured me to become a Creed fan way back. The song is so powerful: who
hasn't been in a situation where they felt they were responsible for a dark period in their life-this song for me was a major awakening of soul and spirit. |
