Anyone at Philly concert...answer this...
I was wondering if any of you guys at the Philly concert heard anything about why Chicago was such a disaster. Did Scott mention anything? Anyway, glad you guys had an awesome concert...wish I could say the same. I unfortunately was at Allstate Arena Sunday night. Oh well, Happy 2003 everyone!!!

he didn't say anything. i have some ideas though. (and this is only speculation on my part)
he has been having some problems with his ex regarding custody of their son ... who he has had sole custody of for at least 2 years now. sunday's show was NOT creed! for him to do that, something had to have been troubling him greatly! last night, during WAWO, he actually started to cry while singing it ... to the point that he almost could not even get the words out. he kept having the audience sing. then at the end, before the encore, they had all their friends and family there ... wives, scott's father was even there, friends, etc. Scott's son was not there. it seemed a bit odd since he has brought him to other shows ... why not this one ... when this would have definitely been one to bring him to. my guess is that his performance on sunday might have had something to do with the custody issue of his son. again ... that is just my own speculation. i have not heard anything for fact. |

yeah I've heard some rumors about that too...I know Jagger is the most important thing to Scott but I really wish he would've cancelled the show...that would have been the right thing to do for all the fans who shelled out a lot of money to see the show.

Yes, in hindsight, cancelling might have been a good option. But wasn't this show a makeup show for a previoulsy cancelled show? I'm not sure people would have been too happy with that if that indeed was the case.

I have 2 questions about the philly concert. first, were they taping it for a dvd cause if so that would be cool and second, did anyone see that kid get hurt who got carried out. he seemed like he was pretty messed up.

There was a video camera going, but I think that was for the screens for folks sitting far away. No, I didn't see the injured kid. I hope he is OK.

The only kid I saw being looked after by security was a kid sitting in the first row of a rear section after the show was over and the lights came up. He was passed out cold and they were shaking and poking him to get him to wake up.

The comment about having 2 weeks off might have been indirectly directed towards the Chicago performace. If that makes any sense?

Yeah, he said something about the two weeks off having made him lazy. Wasn't sure what he meant, exactly...Hiknman, did you make it to the rail or did you have seats?

I know alot of people are questioning the fact of why the Chicago concert went on last Sunday and should of been cancelled. Well I have some info about that particluar situation.
My friend is a chicago cop and he here's things at his station about events in Chicago (sports events, concerts, etc). I was with him on New Years and he told me that the Chicago riot police team was acually at the concert because the show WAS going to be cancelled orginially. In light of this, the riot team was called in in fear of a total riot at All-State. Apparently, at the last minute, the show was back on (hence the delayed start of the Creed portion of the show). The show was delayed a half hour, I assume during that time the decision was made to go on. For those of you at the show, did any of you notice the cops there that had the riot helmets and shields? I did, I saw about 20 of them in one portion of the building when I was leaving. I've never seen this at a concert at all-state, and I've been to some rowdy concerts there before. |
