Scott Stapp Highland, CA 09/30/10
So I saw Scott Stapp last night in Highland, CA. He was good and his voice had definitely improved. I remember him singing rain last year and his voice going totally flat and now he could actually hold the notes. He played hits from all the CDs but he didn't play any songs from his new solo record. I was 5 rows from the front and it was worth the money.
If anyone has any questions about the show I'd be glad to answer them...just like to say that those who are going to see him, its well worth it. |

Can you recall the set list? Did you do the VIP? My son and I are doing VIP on Oct 10th in Reno. We can't wait! I wonder why he isn't playing any new stuff? Hmm. Did you get any pictures? Was you show all ages?

Well I'll try to remember it as best I can...
Are you ready? Bullets (Yes it was acoustic) The Great Divide Surround Me Riders on the Storm (Doors Cover) Eighteen (Alice Cooper Cover) Higher With Arms Wide Open My Own Prison Weathered Overcome Rain I can't remember the exact order. I think the encore was Riders On The Storm, My Own Prison, and The Great Divide. There was no VIP offered from what I can remember. I got pictures but they came out a little blurry cause it was cell phone cam. It's basically just him on a stool with flashing lights all around him. Riders on the storm was pretty awesome because they used a smoke machine in the background. And yes the show was all ages. |

thanks for posting, perfect Set List, as crazy as that range of tracks is.....happy to see a short range happiness but it will do, to see songs from weathered, AND, ALICE......... good to see that varitey...letting go and bringing all of himself through songs, because i tell ya, what truly finds risky, is singing Great Divide, next to An Alice Cooper Cover, your LIGHTING A FIRE, of genetics going not normal.....KEEP IT UP ANTONO... We, Will Overcome AND PRESS ON....................thanks for posting the set list, forgot your name newbie, peace be with you....

Show was INCREDIBLE
Set-List Set list Are You Ready Overcome Weathered I'm 18 Bullets My Own Prison Unforgiven Surround Me Higher Rain With Arms Wide Open My Sacrifice Encore Justify Riders On the Storm The Great Divide Sound check - heard the guys working on a brand new song they told us they had just come up with that day... From what we heard Title will probably be The Best Is Yet to Come. Meet and Greet was awesome...very relaxed and not rushed like the Creed ones were, and sound check rocked, but there were only 10 of us so the amount of people might determine your time to interact. This was a casino show, so had to be 21.
