My Mom and Sister are coming to visit tomorrow. My sister is flying in and my Mom is picking her up at the airport so I will get to visit with both of them. I haven't seen my sister, Renda, since the Chicago trip.

Sad, one of our patients here at the hospital is clinging to life after a nurse made a MAJOR error!

A 46 year old man was given 10x the normal dosage for a pain pump, it was programmed wrong, it is really sad he is going to die
 He has a wife and 7 year old daughter. Sometimes it scares the shit out of me to know how much power I have in my small little hands! The nurse is so distraught over it she can't work, it is an all around SAD situation!

GUILTY was going to whine that I was in pain today, but after reading this....hey. No problem. Better to feel this type of pain than that type of pain. Sooo Sooo Sad for all involved

I'm so sorry to hear that, Jen. That is soooo sad, for everyone involved. Linda's right, hearing stories like that puts any pain you're experiencing into perspective.I'm tired.
