I started reading this book called "The Purpose Driven Life " By Rick Warren, and it is basically a 40 day devotional book designed to help you find the purpose that God has for you while your here on earth:P I am only on day 3 of it and it has really been awesome so far

If you are struggling to find your purpose and place in this life I really recommend that you get it

Here is a poem that I got from the book that really touched me

It was written by Russell Kelfur

You are who you are for a reason.
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're a precious and perfect design,
Called God's special woman or man.

You look like you look for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You're just what he wanted to make.

The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind,
And they bear the Master's seal.

No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow.

You are who you are for a reason
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God.

Julie, my husband has this book. He told me I would love it. So, I guess he's right huh?

I need to read it. Did you ever read the "Prayer of Jabez"? loved it. I have that prayer taped on the mirror in my bathroom so that will be the first thing I see in the morning. Thanks for sharing with us. Tia
