I love the regular cd version, but the acoustic version just brings me to my knees.

I especially love his voice when it is channelled directly into my ears from my portable. My stereo at home is great, but there are little details I can only pick up on the portable.

I swear to God I was just talking to souldancer and Dogstar about that. I have crappy speakers in my car, and when I'm in the van listening, the kids are always in the back arguing. I just got a portable cd player with the headphones and the difference is AMAZING. I can't believe how different everything sounds when it is channeled straight into your ears. And the opening guitar on the WTLF acoustic is the most beautiful 32 seconds of music I've heard in a long time.

Headphones RULE! You do pick up lots that you don't hear just on the stereo because of other background noise or simply not having the direct link. The difference is incredible. I've noticed it when I watch a movie and use my wireless headphones at night to keep the noise down so I don't wake my neighbors. The music in movies, to which I always pay attention, becomes even more prominent with the headphones....
By the way, I have Pity for a Dime channelling directly into my ears at work .

Well, that just answered I question I was always too shy to ask. I wondered if the "So I held my head up high...." bit was Scott or not.

Yup, that's Mark. He also sings in Ode, which I never knew until NYE when I heard him sing.

He sings along with Scott on the "One step on your own and you walk all over me" part. When Scott changes up to say "One light to the blind and they see," Mark is singing the first part. You'll know what I'm talking about when you listen to it again. Hard to explain, I'm sleepy.

creed - "I'm Eighteen"!! Well, not really - but there are lyrics in there that I really do connect with - and the music rocks.

Still rockin' to Jerry C. -- Feel the Void. A dark, trippy song. It's way cool.
