No I don't think they were talking about the guitarist, they were talking about Brandon Boyd the lead singer. Maybe they got mixed up.

i believe their first cd came out in ther mid 90s im guessing like 94-95 not sure...it might be earlier like 90-92

Incubus are a pretty odl band. 10 years or so, and 4 albums. They had became popular just recently, that's it.
