Also wanted to say to all of the Alter Bridge faithful...I am a huge fan of them but Creed is about to kick its little brother to the corner to reclaim their throne as kings of rock once again...Also Scott Stapp has been doing the Creed song tour thing for years now so their would be no point in starting a new site ....Also FYI...Windup owns the rights to Creed and noone without some type of authority or power could create that official site and with Alter Bridge under contract with Universal Im sure that nothing will be made public until either 1)Alter Brige completes it contractual obligations with Universal(Im sure Wind Up will have to compensate Universal somehow for their release) or 2) Mark and company wait for a good time in order not to alienate the Alter Bridge fans...His own brother on their bbs had neither denied or Agreed...Mark has even been quiet himself as quoted in a recent interview after the rumors circulated"...when it comes to Creed we need to be hush hush..."
I think we Alter Bridge fans need to face the fact that while Mark's project is awesome it is in fact just that a project... they will never be as successful as Creed because their only is one Creed ...Peace!!

My guess is that they wanted to test the videos reaction and maybe at some later date post it again maybe altered somehow...I liked the video personally and it got me stoked when I saw it on the website...I think its only a matter of time till its official...I already signed up for the mailing list and believe me when tickets go on sale im gonna be buyin mine...saw them three times already cant wait for a fourth...never got to see them for their weathered tour only My Own Prison and Human Clay songs...Wish I could have heard Bullets live...Mark Rules!!

Well it seems like things just got a little more interesting...Just checked the site Creedofficial.com and now it automatically redirects to the old creed site...What the hell is going on here?? First they pull the reuninon announcement video...Have it removed from youtube at the behest of windup for copyright claim....What the fuck is Wind up up to?? Why release an announcemnt like that and pull it?? This gets more confusing by the minute...Obviously something is going on here...Why the fuck do they need to tease us when we the fans of Creed deserve to know what the fuck is going on...This pisses me off royally as I have benn waiting patiently for 5years for this and if its going to happen why dont they just go ahead and announce it already for gods sake....

Just heard on WCCC in Hartford that Creed is offically booking summer dates and Connecticut will be one of the stops...Also it appears that Alter Bridge will be on the bill as well...That would be so bad ass....Creed and Alter Bridge all in the same night....I cant wait....I guess Mark really wants to make his fans happy!!! Yes!!

As far as GN'R is concerned, Rose still had to go through a legal process to get the rights to the name. He just did it without the knowledge of the rest of the band and told them about it after the fact. I don't know if that's what Stapp's been doing all this time he's been off our radar, but if he has.... that's fucking heinous. Point blank.

It just seems to make more sense, at the moment anyway, that Stapp would just start calling himself and his new backup band Creed. He's still with Wind Up so it doesn't seem like there'd be much legal tape there...especially since AB bought their way out of the rest of their contract with Wind Up. Again, that's how serious Mark and co. were about putting the Creed days behind them. Plus there's more buzz coming about an AB live DVD and new album in the works...

I wonder if it's a money thing. AB hasn't been as successful as Creed obviously. Don't get me wrong, I've seen them a good 15 times!
Also, Mark's brother did flat out deny this would happen a while back. I wish I could remember where. I believe it was on alterbridge.net.
However, I do still believe this is in the works. Neither party has flat out denied this is going to happen. They've spoke of other projects, but neither has denied this rumor. I do believe it is in the works-be it this summer or in 5 years, it's going to happen.
