Can someone explain.
Can someone explain why Scotts voice sounded great right up to Creeds very last concert in Philly new years eve (which I was at) and 3 years later when you would think he is well rested and healed it sounds worse. I would have thought that at the height of his throat problems on the weathered tour he would have sounded bad. But like I said I was at the last concert they ever played and he still sounded great! I hope he gets back to the way he was when I see him in concert coming up.

Re: Can someone explain.
I think the alcohol, drugs(specifically prednisone) and relentless touring, all took its toll on Scott's vocals. I think the damage done by all three was just too great to be repaired, even with nearly three years off. I hope that he eventually gets back the amazing vocals he once possessed, but I don't know if that will ever happen. Regardless, I still think he is a heckuva singer and I will not hesitate in seeing him live. I think his passion and charisma can make up for subpar vocals.
