Your First Alter Bridge Update (this ain't joke)

As of this morning... all 15 drum tracks are finished. All bass lines finished for the 3 songs in contention for the first single. All dirty guitars are finished for the 3 songs as well. thanks for that, that is the alter bridge bb i was talking about in the other thread! can someone explain the basic difference between clean and dirty guitars? i wonder how much guitar playing that myles will be doing on the album? it doesn't sound like there will be much. can't wait to hear their stuff!

Clean = without distortion (when the sound comes through Mark's Fender Amp)
Dirty = with distortion (when the sound comes through Mark's Mesa Boogie Amp)

well that is a can of worms if ever there was one. without knowing the facts i assume that if all was well creed would have an album out soon and not alter bridge, and mark would have never looked for a singer for a new band. they really should use myles guitar playing ability even in a rhythm role and next album as a songwriter. scott's guitar playing must have improved a lot if he's doing a solo album and writing his own music. |
