Thoughts on the next album!

Hey guys!
I decided to saty with you guys here I used to post a lot on marktremonti.net but I'm just getting tired of all those people who used to be CREED fans and now just hate them! And you guys here LOVE CREED so do I. I will always love CREED.

But anyways: I think next album will be way harder than Weathered ( and even maybe human clay, and who know maybe even MOP) because Stapp had some rough time this and last year and I think it's time to show all those people that CREED is BACK!

Hi! Welcome on board, dude!

Weathered was kinda of a package from Wind-Up. Creed´s popularity increased a lot with it. I mean, I love weathered. I think it´s different too due the feelings they had at that time: they really were weathered, so it´s natural the sound of it.

MOP was heavier coz back then, they had more anger, it´s part of the feelings of growing up and getting pissed at things.

HC is when the dust settled down and they could think better. They absorved that first impact. That´s why it has the deepest lyrics and epic melodies. I mean, it´s more serious. My friends didn´t like it very much... But that´s what I love about it.

I love equally the 3 albums, I don´t have a favorite one but I think HC is the best one (there´s a difference here...)

At the same time, I think it´s wrong for me to expect a more HC album in the next one... The guys should do what pleases them, not the fans or the record label or their manager... If they do that, the true fans will appreciate it. That´s why I think they can make something totally unexpected that will rock or even make an album more similar to the previous ones that will also rock. I´m sure they won´t let me down. Creed is good music for sure!

i agree, the more the guys do what they enjoy, the more their true fans will enjoy it, and more fans will be drawn to them.

Personally, songs like MOP, What If, Bullets, FF, OLB, WTLF, Unforgiven, just to name a few, are all awesome song, imo, i would love it if they'd do a song or two that were like WAWO (soft i mean), and the rest be like a mix of MOP and the first half a Weathered.

I agree with you Marcos, 100%. I also think all that Scott and Mark went through last year will influence their writing, creednet-x. It's good to have you back on the board.

Personnally, a mix between the 3 would be great! Only if it pleases them!

My problem is I like Never Die, Faceless Man and higher too much! hehehe

Those guy are heroes... Mark lost his mom and Stapp´s problems, Flip having a baby... and yet they decided to stand here with us! I can´t blame them for coming back only in 2004! They deserve it!

It will be way deeper than Weathered, deeper than Human Clay, but idk about MOP...you can't get much better than my own prison.

But man this album is gonna be awesome scott is going to pour his heart out even more than the last 3 albums i can't wait.

I definitely think the next album will have even more of Scott's heart and soul in it, if that's possible! Life experience can offer so much in the way of poetry/lyrics, or art in general. PEACE....
