Full Circle Likely to Debut #2!

Looks like the guys may debut number 2 next week!

http://hitsdailydouble.com/news/news...i?news07816m01

Wind-up’s comebacking Creed celebrates the resurrection of Scott Stapp and company, with between 100-110k in sales for the aptly titled Full Circle. That will put the band co-managed by Geary/Paul in a race with Chop Shop/Atlantic’s Twilight soundtrack and Big Machine’s Taylor Swift, who this week releases a Deluxe Edition of her four-times-platinum-plus Fearless album, which looks to be in the 90-95k range.

This website also said that the new Kiss album would sell 180 thousand in the first week and it sold 108. We'll have to wait and see.

I know it's not definite but at least they're in the discussion of top 3.

Re: Full Circle Likely to Debut #2

How can they predict what the album is going to sell the next six days?

Re: Full Circle Likely to Debut #2

"As of Wednesday morning Jack Johnson's compilation of live concerts, "En Concert," is fourth-selling album on the latest iTunes list, trailing Creed's "Full Circle," Taylor Swift's "Fearless (Platinum edition)," and "Michael Jackson's This Is It, (The Music That Inspired The Movie)." This excerpt is from a Honolulu newspaper, confirming how well the album is doing on iTunes.

Probably because they have a formula that takes how much they've sold since the release averaged with how much that number decreases over the next couple days, which yields an average decrease, hence the forecastable album sales.

Wasn't there over 300,000 people who listened to the Houston concert on line? And if so, wouldn't all these people buy the album in the first week? It just doesn't make any sense that Full Circle would only sell 100,000 copies the first week.

Re: Full Circle Likely to Debut #2

Not necessarily, you dont' know what kind of circumstances apply to those 300k people.

For example: I have not bought the cd yet because i haven't received the paycheck i need to be able to afford it.

There are plenty of reasons why people may not have ran out to buy it day one. Just because you watch an online concert doesn't mean you are going to go buy the cd in the first week necessarily

I was 1 of those 300,000 but down here we don't get it till the 6 nov and I am sure other countries are the same. So I can't buy it. Certain shops may not be or ran out stock

Ok, good point. I just hope that "Rain" finally gets big on the radio. That would definitely boost album sales. I still think that there's a lot of people who don't know that Creed is back together yet, because they don't have a new song that's being played heavily on mainstream radio stations.

Re: Full Circle Likely to Debut #2

I'm actually more annoyed that it takes a song like Rain for people to listen to good music.

Not to knock the song, but there is so much better material on this album.

It's kind of a special song for me to have heard it for the first time in concert... and then hear it later... way cool !!
