Re: Creed Tour Dates 2010

We wait soooo long for tour dates, promises of a world tour, canadian dates, SA dates, AU/NZ dates and this is what we get? 21 dates mostly in cities that the band played on the reunion tour? This is fucking stupidity to the utmost degree. Creed's management/promo team should be fired. This is an insult to the fans that didn't get to see Creed on the reunion tour and probably never will get to see Creed again. Creed are the masters of broken promises and VERY POOR busniess decisions. They rush out an album, they rushed out a dvd and they rushed out a tour. It really makes me think that if a band that cares so little about the product that they put out there deserves our money and our devotion.

Mate I understand your anger Living in Aust I share your pain. However these dates are August dates June/July could be international. I got an email from Eventful last week to reserve tickets for the Sydney show so something must be in the pipeline

Re: Creed Tour Dates 2010

More dates are coming. As far as European dates I wouldn't get your hopes up, I've heard that they ran out of time to book certain dates which is a shame.

Why would you wish for them to cancel some shows? Then the people in those cities will be sad.

I don't want them to cancel on anyone. I'm just trying to point out that things can work out in the end if they add other shows in the area. I got canceled on twice. I was rambling a bit with my posts. That being said, I do feel sympathy for people who get canceled on or don't get shows in their area.

Re: Creed Tour Dates 2010

Short article from Pollstar:

http://www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/a...19/718999.aspx

Creed Reveals ‘20-10’ Tour

Quote: In its ever-continuing effort to make the world a better place, Creed announces its “20-10” tour where the top ticket price is $20.

Having reunited with singer Scott Stapp in 2009, Creed is now ready to tackle one of the most important issues facing humanity today – the ever-rising cost of concert tickets – by setting an “all-in” price for the first 2,010 reserved seats at each venue on the tour for only $20. The “all-in” designation means the $20 price tag is the complete price and there will be no tacked-on service charges or other hidden fees. After those are gone the remaining tickets will cost either $10 or $20 plus all applicable fees.

The tour begins July 28 near D.C. in Bristow, Va., at Jiffy Lube Live July 28, plays Darien Center, N.Y. at the Performing Arts Center July 31 and lands in Mansfield, Mass., for a show at Comcast Center Aug. 3.

Other stops include Cuyahoga Falls near Cleveland at Blossom Music Center Aug. 8, Cincinnati at Riverbend Music Center Aug. 13 and Atlanta at Aaron’s Amphitheatre At Lakewood Aug. 29. Last gig on the schedule is The Woodlands, Texas, at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Sept. 4.

Not all dates will include the “20-10” ticket deal. Without specifying the reason (or reasons), the band’s Mt. Pleasant, Mich., show at Soaring Eagle Casino July 30 will not offer the promotion. Other stops not included in the deal are Casino Rama Entertainment Centre near Orillia, Ont., Aug. 5; Sparta, Wis., at Fort McCoy Army Base Aug. 7; Sturgis, S.D., at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Aug. 10 and Gilford, N.H., at Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion Aug. 20.

A Citi cardmembers presale begins April 21, while general onsales for select markets begin April 23.

Lowering the price...possibly to get more people in the seats.

Re: Creed Tour Dates 2010

Come on guys.. I can understand why you lot are angry, but for those of you expecting to come to Europe

How were Creed ever suppose to fit this into their schedule? The latest date is early September, they would need to be rehearsing with AB shortly after that.

I know Creed said they were going to tour in all these places, but anyone expecting them to go to places like Europe this tour, were a bit foolish.

Re: Creed Tour Dates 2010

Has anyone heard whether or not Creed will be on tour with any other bands like they did last year with Staind. I think 3 Doors Down would be perfect.

Re: Creed Tour Dates 2010

I'd hate to have two hate posts in a row, but werent tickets that low on the reunion tour? And for very different reasons.... And june/july stapp is taking off to be there for the birth of his child. Why in gods name did they take so long to book the tour? This is why i think the reunion was just a cash grab.

the ticket prices were high, but they were slashing them close to the show. We got some tickets to the atl show for 20 that should have been at least 50. Live nation realizes you can't charge that kind of money for a band that is not selling like they were 10 years ago. I believethey having the baby in early to mid July?
