Guess what!!! I had a DATE last night!

I know what your thinking. Seems sureal, huh. I've been out of the game so long, I don't even think I was even in the ballpark, or maybe up in the nosebleed section of the grandstands. After sitting in the bullpen for a while, I finally got to step up to the plate. lol.

Anyway, it went quite well... Her name is Samantha and lives about a half hour from me. We went to Olive Garden for dinner (after she got in the car, she asked me where we were going and I told her... she said it was her favorite place and I got bonus points for taking her there.

) Anyway, after dinner we went to see a movie. I wanted to see either The Underworld or Freddy vs. Jason, but they weren't starting for over an hour, so we saw My Boss's Daughter (with Ashton Kutcher and Tara Reid). I can easily say (as we both almost said at the same time) it was one of the stupidest movies ever. If you haven't seen it, don't waste your time (or money). On the definate upside of that 2 hours was that I got to put my arm around her and she even put her head on my shoulder.

Congats on the date, really sucks about the movie. i once took a date to see 40 Days and 40 Night. that wasnt a good idea.
