I agree that the article was defending Creed. She is saying that it's the "people" that are under this misconception or spreading the "lie" that Creed is a Christian rock band because they judge them on their name and some of their lyrics ... without having any of the facts. I thought it was a very nice article.

You did not start any arguing by posting it. I think everyone here is in agreement with the point of the article. She may not have every fact completely accurate, but she did a good job of getting across the point that Creed should not be judged soley on their name. They should be judged on what THEY explain is the intention of their name, beliefs and reasons for the use of biblical imagery. She only reiterated what Creed says themselves. It seems that she is using Creed as one example of the negative effect "stero-typing" or "labeling" can have.

You should not feel bad ... you have done nothing wrong. It was Lechium that started the disagreement because he feels the need to challenge everything anyone says. It wasn't you!

As far as losing a friend ...
I'm not sure if you meant that in regards to this thread. Did someone feel you were condoning an article that they viewed as being negative?? If that's so ... I think they owe you an apology. Maybe I just misunderstood what you meant by that.

Mushroomy2k, creedlvr is right. No need to apologize in the least. You didn't do anything wrong. Debate is healthy but sometimes it can get heated. You didn't start anything bad. And I'm sorry you lost a friend.

thanks you guys,but i guess i jump to conclusions to soon.
i thought my friend was upset with me because of this post.
but,my friend let me know that everything is all good.
i learned a lesson though,quite being such a knucklehead lol:embarass: so with that off my chest,im going to go listen.
to a live version of the young grow old,i beleive scott plays
