Cussing doesnt mean anything... my friend is very religious and he swears like a sailor. The "dont settle score" actually goes along with Bible and forgivness... They have many more religious references than most other bands, and only differcne between thema and other Christaisn bands is that they are more subliminal about it.

P.S. about PM's.... how's calliugn creed Christian band = bashing? lol

The thing is there not a Christian Band. And Stapp's not singing about God you moron (are you a fan at all) He's singing about his personal feelings.

Scott, don't waste anymore of your time. He PM'd me asking to lighten up on him, then continually says snide remarks, like about Stapp being fat, about not everyone here loving Creed etc. He wants us to be nice to him, yet he doesn't want to add anything positive to the bb.

In my humble opinion, As far as trying to intrepret the meaning of "creed". It has alot to do with personal beliefs. So I believe that its meaning can be connected to your personal beliefs and the manner in which you life your life. So be it. Man oh man was that redundant or what..laughing. Intrepret how you may.

2Lechium: I will answer this question yet again. For many people, *Christian band* carries a negative connotation because a lot of people find such bands preachy. I don't think Creed are subliminal at all in their religious/biblical references. They are fairly obvious. However, there is a big difference between preaching and simply using the imagery to get a point across. To me, most of their songs have a lot do with their own personal struggles in life, be they spiritual or moral or whatever. A lot of it to me is about trying to make the choices that are right for them and sometimes struggling with those choices. Some of those choices might have spiritual overtones. In some songs they seem critical of religion, so I really don't consider them a Christian band in the sense that they are trying to get people to believe one way.

Creed sings about God, but they don´t preach about God...there´s a difference... they have no agenda or commitment to "convert" you.

They´re honest, though.
