Oh well get over it. If you are still thinking that way about Creed, without out us still actually knowing about what completley went on, well, lets just say that is a stupid way to be thinking.

Sorry, but thats just what I think, it's time to get out of the gutter and move on. To Alter Bridge.
So does this mean that because of the way you are feeling, you won't be happy for the boys? Will you buy their album? Will you be supporting them in the way you did with Creed? I'm just angry, because you said they were "cheating" on him. I don't know how many times I have to say it, but don't judge when we don't know the full story. I stopped judging and assuming things along time ago with what could have happened, I've just let that go because theres no use crying over spilt milk, so to speak.

Get out of the gutter??? You're angry because of how I feel?? That's strange. I'm just saying it didn't feel right to see the whole band (minus one) with a new lead singer. I'm not making assumptions on how it all happened ... I'm just saying it seemed weird.
As far as my support of the new band, as I said, I'm just not excited for it. Once the album is released and I hear the music, I will decide. If I like it, I'll buy it. If not, then I won't. It's as simple as that. How can I know if I'll support them the same as I did Creed if I haven't heard anything from them? |

After finally hearing the Mayfield Four, I have to say I'm pretty excited for the new band. He's a really good singer. I'll be very curious, that's for sure.

No. You should just snap into reality, that's all.
But this ISN'T CREED!!! This is a new band, Alter Bridge. Not Creed, not "Creed minus one" A NEW BAND. Because you liked them as artists, becuase they are all so talented people, amazing songwriters and musicians. I am aware that Alter Bridge may be a new approach to rock music, their music may be slightly different, but not compleltley tearing away from the sound of Creed.

The reason why a band would have a new leadsinger, but a new band name would be that they want to change their sound. So Alter Bridge will sound nothing like Creed. It's like comparing Rage Against the Machine with Audioslave.

okay ... I guess it's time to pick at everything that someone says ... (of course, only if they don't agree with you, right?) What are you talking about??????? I am fully aware of what's going on and have given up any hope at all of Creed staying together. What is your point? That if I'm not excited for this new stuff that I'm in denial? It's really very simple ... I'm just not excited. It has nothing to do with reality. That's how I feel. Period. This NEW BAND consists of 3 out of 4 original Creed members and a different lead singer. Also, as I understand it, at least some of the new songs were originally intended to be on Creed's next album. Why is it so hard for you to fathom the idea that *some* people see this as Creed replaced it's lead singer (regardless of the story behind it or who's fault it was) and got a new name. I don't even know why I have to explain myself. All I was saying was that it seemed strange to me to see the band members with a different lead singer. What's wrong with that? What's your problem? I'm so tired of people (not only myself) getting "yelled" at and analyzed for not sharing the opinions of the majority. So this means that I should just "love it" before I hear it??? What I said was ... I'll decide when I hear what they sound like. Again, what's wrong with that? Maybe I'll love them ... maybe I'll hate them ... won't know until I hear it. I really don't understand what's so difficult to comprehend. End of discussion. |

Yeah, that's true, but I mean I personally think that they will still have a hint of Creed in them, musically wise. I mean I could be wrong, but that's just what I think.
And creedlvr, I'm not even going to bother with this argument because I can see that it will lead us nowhere. We obviously always argue whenever there is a hot topic, I was just qutie pissed off at your remark that Mark, Brian, Flip, and Myles were "cheating on" Scott. When none of us know what went on, to judge like that is just stupid, you are obviously only on Scotts side. Lets just agree do disagree, I am already pissed off with what you said, so I'm going to leave it at that.

I am not on any one side. You're right ... this is pointless because you're extremely judgemental and obviously did not understand anything I've said. Anyway, I said what I said ... get over it.
I'm done with this dumb discussion. |

i DO feel like they backstabbed SCOTT, kicking him out of his own band and then his best friend never even calling him.
Does anyone think that mark is getting uglier as time goes by? Cuz he sure looks like it. |

for starters you are assuming that scott got kicked out! where is your evidence to support this? if he did get kicked out i think he would have said something don't you?

Yep, judgemental...
Do you think so? HELL NO!!! He's looking better, I love the hair short. handmedown, I agree with you 100%. There is no evidence, no one has said anything, so I can't see how people can just assume that Mark and the guys have been "backstabbing" Scott and have kicked him out of his own band...
