Hide is IMHO the best song on Weathered...(even though I only liked 3 tracks from it lol)

You say it seems more like pop, well I noticed that is has a lot less of a drum sound then My Own Prison and Human Clay. I guess loosing Brian Marshalls could've had a little impact, but I personally like Weathered the most b/c the lyrics are the deepest yet, all except for lullaby, which I won't discuss now.

I personally liked Hide, I wasn't as keen about DSD though, but what annoys me is that in Australia Hide was released as a single instead of Bullets. This is probably Sony Australia's fault but that means Creed's softer songs are released one after the other here with none of their hard songs ever being played on the radio. It's worse when you also have the fact that none of the songs from My Own Prison are played on the radio here. Which definitely adds to the “Creed Sucks”, “Soft Rock” ,“Christian Band” labels that they are given.

What? LOL Sorry man, but while the content on Weathered may have had kinda "deep" connotations, the lyrics were pretty simplistic and suprisingly repetitive. Compare the lyrics of My Sacrifice to What If, My Own Prison, Torn, etc... pretty dull in comparison.

Well... if you look at it from a money perspective... Hide might not be a bad choice. They are trying to find the song that gets them the most radioplay. I still think Stand here with me is the most radio friendly song they haven't released yet. Oh well.. its not my money pressing and releasing the single.

I could caare less about the $$... I'm just sick of near-pop-rock singles being released. Creed isn't a pop-rock band.... not yet at least...

I don't think Hide made any $$ here in Australia, it got some radio play on the rock stations but of all the weathered singles released it was the least successful which I don't quite understand considering it was released 2nd after My Sacrifice. Maybe it was due to lack of promotion and the fact that there was no music video to accompany it.
I was just annoyed after I bought the single that as well as containing Hide it had Bullets and the Bullets video on it. So it was basically a Bullets Single but they released hide to the radio. N30°14'?.7 W84°, was Bullets released as a single in Brazil at all?

Danielle... no, it wasn´t. Only sony televison (sony´s cable channel) played its video a few times, but that was it...
I never heard it on radio. And I never saw it on MTV.  They took so long to release My Sacrifice... I mean, they began playing it around the same time it was released (november), but they were kinda hiding it. When it was january, they released it for real, reaching the charts and stuff. So they skipped bullets and released OLB in April. It was so cool! On Top 10 countdowns, you listen to both everyday for a month!

Thanks for the info N30°14'?.7 W84° yeah I never heard Bullets anywhere here. My Sacrifice and OLB did pretty well here as well, it's always good to here them on the radio and in countdowns. DSD was released here a couple of months ago but I don't think it has been as successful as the other singles, whenever I heard it on the radio the DJ would make fun of it.
