Indeed. I love that song. His presence was so missed on Weathered.

I don't think they should do it for another reason, it doesn't fit AB's musicalstyle... It's to easy to do and it's not like it's Myles singing style at all... But if they did do a "cover" of Torn I bet they could do it mutch better then they did in Creed...

well, it might murder your disbelief that Stapp is actually no more than an AVERAGE baritone rock vocalist at BEST... |

I'd like to see your proof of that statement in regards to murdering a song. Turnabouts fairplay |

Do we really have to go through with this again?
Let them move on people, it's what they want. If AB wanted to play Creed songs they would. They don't and I applaud them for it. |

Re: Since Scott Stapp sings Creed songs, should Alter Bridge?
What's the big deal about Stapp performing Creed songs on his solo tour?
Last week I was in Dio concert and he performed a few Rainbow songs and one Black Sabbath song and it didn't bother me because he was the voice on the songs originally. On the other hand if Alter Bridge would play Creed songs Kennedys voice would sound a bit strange first but in the end it wouldn't bother me. So once again Tremonti and Stapp both wrote Creed songs so automatically they both can perform them if they want to. |

Re: Since Scott Stapp sings Creed songs, should Alter Bridge?
My supervisor attended a Robert Plant gig the other week.
We got talking and I asked him if RP played any LZ songs. He told me that about 40% of the performance that night was LZ material. I also asked him if the fans ever had a problem with him performing LZ songs. He told me that he couldn't remember there being any complaints from fans or ex-bandmates. I explained to him that some fans were furious that Stapp would perform Creed songs on tour and he looked slightly stunned. When I told him Stapp's attitude was 'I wrote the songs (lyrics), so I'll play them if I want to' his response was "too right". I understand if some fans are upset. However, although it sounds selfish, I never got to see Creed perform live so I would love to hear some of the songs. And if AB performed Creed songs, again, no problem - it would sound very odd, though. Take Care
