My own Prison: LITERALLY!
Yikes!!!
I am stuck here at work, and have to stay here due to the snow storm!!! The worst is supposed to start tonight, and I live 35 minutes from work sooooo I have to stay here to make sure I am here for Sunday's 12 hour shift!!!!! This sucks, but I took a roll around computer in my room here so I can at least talk to you great people!!!!!

Sorry to hear that Jen. You guys are supposed to get slammed tonight and we're going to get slammed tomorrow afternoon into evening then overnight. I have a feeling my hubby will probably get stuck at work Sunday night, so I'm probably not going in on Monday. At least you have internet access so that you aren't alone! Do you have to work at all tonight? Or are you just there so that when your shift starts tomorrow you'll be there?

No I don't have to work tonight, but we are getting slammed with auto accident patients, they better not bother me!!! But I had to stay so I can be here for the 7am shift in the am
 I really did not want to do that, BUT..... I know I did not want to get up at 3am to shovel snow so I can get to work on time!!!!

Oh, man, Jen, that stinks. I probably won't make it to Rhode Island to see my family, either. This is the second straight week snow has wrecked my plans
. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off and I was supposed to leave for home after midnight Sunday, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm glad you have access to a puter, though!:P

OH!!!!!! i know how you feel i work in a hospital too and when we get snow the first shift don't come in so we night people have to stay another 8 hrs, it sucks but what can you do

sorry to hear that Jen, but hang out with us; we'll keep you company!! I thought up a quick fantasy, didn't have Milanos, so I had Oreos instead, LOL..... Scott and I are alone next to a lake having a picnic and he's serenading me, kind of like Lullaby, really soft and angelic,oooh that voice!!!! Then he kisses me and....... I'll leave the rest to the imagination. I know, it's kind of "common" but that's what happens when you have Oreos instead of Milanos I guess.... LOL Hope your night doesn't suck too much, as long as you're safe that's all that matters, right friends? PEACE....

I'm so sorry you have to stay at the hospital tonight, Jen.
But I'm very happy that you can be here tonight. And Kim's right, as long as you're safe, that's the most important thing.It's too bad you can't go to RI tomorrow either, Dogstar.  It is much easier to handle knowing I could talk to all you great people! I am sitting here in the hospital bed with this roll around computer over the bed. I look like a real idiot but who cares right! LOL!!!! I wish I had a lap top at home. Hey Kim, nice fantasy!!! I wish I had even an oreo to much on!
