It means to split into opposites^, and I thougt the song was great. You should definitly play it for the church. I'm pretty sure they'd enjoy it.

yeah i know the word from reading psychology research that use dichotomous measures. a dichotomy is when there are two polar opposites and there is no in between you are either or.

before becomeing a christian we are dead, have no peace, have no joy, no hope, no knowledge
after christ indewls us we have life ,peace, and joy, hope, knowledge

so Christ creates a change that creates a dichotomy. Im not sure that was the best word to use cause people dont understand it and until this morning i was still wondering what I was thinking when I originally wrote it a while back .
