Great White Pyro!
Did you guys here about that Great White show in Rhode Island? It was at a club and they had a lot of Pyro in their show, that the club owners say they were unaware of, and it blew up the club and killed like 96 people or something.
Isn't that insane. I couldn't believe that!

That was stupid of them. I don't understand why you would have such large pyro if you were in a club. It's not like it's an arena or something.

The guitarist from Great White is supposedly one of the missing and presumed dead. I got a knot in the pit of my stomach when I heard that, not because I followed them or anything, but my thoughts immediately went to Creed and Mark. How horrible for those poor people up there. My heart goes out to the families.

I heard that about the guitarist too. The tragedy has made the local news here in CT. It's really sad. My first thoughts were of Creed too when I heard about the pyro. They were showing some live video that someone shot on the news last night and the ceiling in the club looked really low and it caught fire really quickly. It's only my opinion but I feel that smaller clubs like that should never allow pyro or other special effects like that. Although from what I've heard there's a controversary about the use of the pyro. Supposedly, the management of the club didn't give the band approval to use it. I'm not sure if that's the case or not but that's what they're saying on the news here. It's really a sad situation and my prayers are with everyone involved.

I heard something about Chicago, Julie, that a lot of people died and they think it was a terroristic act or something. What exactly happened?
I had no idea about the guitarist, I cannot believe that. My heart goes out to the friends and family of those who were lost as well. It is so sad.

UF, someone at the station where the camera man worked was part owner in the club and they were actually doing a story on night club safety. Ironic, huh?

I grew up about 10 minutes from where that club was. It was a restaurant when we were kids, so it's probably been a club for the last 20 or 30 years. My sister frequented that club up until a couple of years ago. It really is a sad and senseless thing that happened there. My thoughts and prayers go out to the loved ones and friends of those who died.
Rhode Island is the kind of state where you often run into people who know someone you know. It's a tight-knit quirky little state I'm proud to call home. I fear that I will recognize some names when the list of victims is released. There were a lot of people my and my sister's age in that club that night. There also were a lot of younger people. I can't for the life of me figure out why a band would even think of using pyro in such a small venue.
