Where can I hear Myles?
I know someone posted a link or something a while back but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know where I can hear something from him, I would like to find out what he sounds like?

Really? Stapp is a baritone with lots of volume, in my opinion. Myles is a tenor with razor sharp precision, also in my opinion.
What is it about them that sounds similar to you?

its that stressed syllable sound that Stapp always put onto the end of his words... kinda like "With Arms Wide Openahhhh"...
Listen to the song "Eden (Turn the Page) and you'll see what I'm talking about... |

I had this convo with someone else. And I mentioned that it was the one thing about Stapp's voice that drove me nuts. "Bound and tie-eeee-ied." And they pointed out that Axel Rose did the very same thing. I had never thought of it that way.

I never drove me nuts... but I admit I didn't like it very much. That was the #1 area that everyone made fun of him for. Myles doesn't have that quality NEARLY as much as Stapp does though.

I actually don't mind stapp's vocal inflections such as bound and tiiieeeddddd! Anyhow kennedy and stapp sound nothing alike, but do yourself a favour and purchase at least The Mayfield Four's "Second Skin".

You are so right weathered! Funny thing is, I loved it on Rose, hated it on Stapp. Go figure!

What caught my attention on Creed was Stapp's baritone voice and secs later that cool little thing Mark does in the chorus of Higher!
I prefer baritones better than tenors, but I'm glad they picked Myles. It will avoid comparissons and, OMG, how Myles can sing! He has a great voice and great skills!!! I loved this choice!

And what about Mark's part in MOP : So I held my head up ha-iiiiigh Hiding hate that burns insa-iiiide... Loved it or hated it?? Axl Rose sounds quite nice on CD but I was highly shocked when I heard him Live for the very first time... eww! Hahaha...

Truthfully, I never really paid that much attention to Mark's voice! (sorry Mark, your guitar is what spoke to me)

Axl's voice went downhill and its basically shot now but his voice was unique but very good. I like Mark's voice certainly does the job as a secondary vocalist. He could pull off a solo record easily enough IMO.
