To Leave This World With Nothing, But Broken Teeth
To Leave This World With Nothing, But Broken Teeth
I don't want this to sound cliche
But it does in the worst way
And I can't save my life to save my neck
And I'm wondering how much of you I can neglect
But time has it's way of haunting me
Even though I try hiding my identity
My future is in the past
Where my life could never last
I'll treasure the feeling
Being buried underneath
I never thought I'd be so willing
Choking upon my broken teeth
Time is ticking down
So I keep wearing this frown
Because a blank stare takes up to much effort
And a smile does nothing, but hurt
And I'll treasure the heartache
Being buried 6 feet deep
I never thought I'd forsake
What I fought so hard to keep.
