Re: Mayfield Four
I picked up my copy of Second Skin a few months ago, actually.
I bought One Day Remains when it debuted as a Creed fan hoping to find something new to love, and damn did it deliver! It goes without saying, I picked up Blackbird the day it was released and rocked the f*ck out! It got me interested in Myles Kennedy's career, so I looked him up. I saw that he'd been in another band called Mayfield Four so I checked out some of their material. I immediately fell in love (ironically) with the song "Believe" and I HAD TO OWN IT. I'm one of those people who has to own a physical copy so I can get all the artwork and stuff too, so I grabbed a sealed copy of Second Skin off ebay.
God, I love the album. Its like a musical journey. the last album that I experienced like it was A Perfect Circle's Mer De Noms (Sea Of Names).
Its odd, music in general nowadays is just so terrible... I keep finding bands from the past that I'd never heard of but I really like. I did the same thing last year when I stumbled upon Ultraspank!
