Today the sun slept in
Coldness filled the air
The winds did howl…
Like wolves that prowl
In a child’s lost nightmare
Today the sun slept in
Came Winter clothed in white
The first snow fall
Veiled trees and all…
While the world slept last night
Today the sun slept in
Tomorrow the clouds will pass
When that time arrives
We notice our lives…
