I don't want to start another arguement, but I don't see what difference it'll make, they'll just be dividing their time up between two bands.

I imagine if Creed weren't happening, they would just tour/record with Alter Bridge throughout the whole of 2010, but now we have Creed they are simply dividing the time they have in 2010 between two bands.

Do you see where i'm coming from? They would be touring with AB all year, but they aren't, just touring with two bands, so it's the same amount of touring, just divided.
