Yep, that's true, lots of people watched the world series. But Stapp wasn't on very long, all you had to do was get up and go to the bathroom and you would have missed it. Or you could have gotten up to get something to drink, or checked sports scores on ESPN. You could have channel surfed too.
Lots of reasons to miss it, but only one to sit and watch something that you knew from the beginning you weren't going to like.
