I honestly never meant to hurt anyone's feelings or cut anyone down with my analogy. And I never said that Metallica sucks. I do not think Metallica sucks. I've heard Master of Puppets. I've heard Ride the Lightning. I've heard Kill 'Em All. And all that is some of the best heavy music I've ever heard. Metallica pushed the envelope then, and they continue to push it now. BUT...
Face it, from one person to another, their new stuff just isn't what it used to be. Does that mean they suck? No! I haven't seen a sea part in my lifetime. Does that mean God sucks? No! It's just a simple analogy that I thought other music fans would just get a kick out of. Kind of a chuckle. Kind of a "oh, cool." Sorry if I offended anyone. I really am.
