Scott Stapp and Alter Bridge Dissed By Carson Daly

Last night, on Last Call w/ Carson Daly... Steve Schirippa (who is one of the hosts on Casino Cinema) was the second guest. During the beginning of the show when Carson came out to do his few "jokes" he brings up Scott Stapp's Casino Cinema appearance and shows a clip of Scott doing his kung fu impressions. He then goes on to say something to this effect: I don't know how many of you know this, but Creed used to be like one of the biggest bands in the world. Well, since they broke up... 3 of the guys formed a band called Alter Bridge with a new singer... and they sound exactly like Creed. So, now the former lead singer Scott Stapp has a solo album out, and it sounds exactly like Creed. So now we have Alter Bridge, Creed, and Scott Stapp... don't think if they still all wanted to suck... they could've just sucked together, as Creed?

Later on, when Schirippa was on... he was saying how he really didn't know who Creed was because he's a Sinatra guy. But he said... that when Scott first showed up, he went into Steve's dressing room and was like "Hey Mr. Soprano! I'm gonna kick your ass!" in a New York accent. Then, he was being rude to Howard Stern's girlfriend saying "You wanna piece of me?" Carson then showed a clip of Stapp's minister impersonation... and was like "I thought he was a Christian?" Steve replies, laughing: "Well, you saw the tape!"

Carson has always been known to be a Creed hater and made a comment like: "and to think, I almost married that," referring to Tara Reid. I've seen Carson's show live, twice... and I've seen him make fun of Creed in the past. It was funny though, because most of the interview was built around Scott.
