Julie... what was the fair downtown like? did you see either Saliva or the Wallflowers? funny, reading an article in the Post today about having current artists to attract younger crowds, they had to have the obligatory interview w/ the crotchety old folks who've 'been coming to the fair for years now, and playing the heavy metal crap drives old people away, and we all know who spends the money down here'.... right.... like young people don't eat... we elected to stay in our neck of the woods, though, have a party w/ family friends, go to Webster's fireworks show on the 4th. it wasn't too shabby. luckily, the weather waited 'til today to crap all over us
