Poem

Tell me what you think

Untouchable

Abiding in the stillness of the expectation worth the wait
Hiding in the thought of their world without hate
Patience paying of with the fruit of happiness and peace
But words from the vine so close trying to kill, never will they cease
Just leave them alone! I think you want what they have obtained
Looking inside you see a core that once was pure but now is stained
Fragile is the balance between care and control
In trying to repair you brake what is already hole
Just look at what they have as they become one!
Something untouchable that can be taken by no one
What we have found is peace so just leave us alone
Still not seeing a new joy in our eyes we conclude inside you’ve become stone
The soul you are barely holding on to is fading to dust
One thing Ill tell you is already lost is our respect and trust
We don’t care what you think so just leave us hear
Where we can live in peace and not feed on this fear
You’ve tried to take the best of us so we’re telling you to leave
Maybe somewhere in time we can escape to a place where someone will believe
Lord God does anyone Believe?!?!

Hello Sam, :)

This is a very well written poem. I love the imagery, conviction of your emotions and the flow.

I do believe, one day, we will live in peace and without fear.

Very good poem. I hope to read more from you!!

~Honey~ ;)
