Classic Creed Intros

I put this together last night just for the fun of it... I basically combined all of Mark's classic intros from Creed, which I think his clean tone is superb. There are a few nuggets in there too but I didn't use anything from "Full Circle" because it would of been odd sounding seeing as most of the album is in Drop B & the older stuff is mostly in Drop D lol

So anyway hope ya like it... I was going to take the audio & try to put it to old clips of Mark playing the songs but 1. It would take forever to make & don't have much time and 2. I don't have a great video-editing program lol but anyway this will have to do. Feel free to rate/comment :)

I liked it except for the weird transitioning noise.

I gotta say, Is This The End? is by far my favorite clean tone.

I still get chills to this day every time i hear this song.

I wish they'd play it live.

Honestly I always felt that after he switched from his Gibson's to his PRS's he lost the ability to replicate his clean tone live.

If you watch the old school mesa arizona live clips when he still had his yellow les paul at the start of the human clay tour his tone is spot on. And frankly i thought human clay had the best tone of any of the records overall, distorted including. Even his distorted tone live was more beasty back then.

And to answer the question about the WTLF blue collar thing, it's the classical intro he wrote for WTLF that he put on the blue collar release, but was removed by wind up when they re-released the album. He still played it live in the MOP/HC days, if you watch old live videos of it on youtube you'll see him play it.

When Creed first formed, before they signed with Wind-up, they released My Own Prison under there own label called Blue Collar Records. The band made 5,000 copies of the CD and sold them at shows and local stores. Most of the songs sound the same as the Wind-up release of the album but WTLF has the into as the video and Sister has completely different lyrics. If you look on ebay you may find an original copy of the CD typically for about $100 or so, or find a down-loadable version from a torrent site. I don't condone downloading but this is out of print material that gets an exception in my book.
