Al-Qaeda hits Spain: 200 dead on 3/11

So far we got 200 innocent people killed in Madrid due terrorist attacks on train stations. 1000+ injuried.

And it seems Al-Qaeda just assumed the responsability for it... sure, really responsible.

And a sad "coincidence": the day chosen by them was the 11th of a month.

It's awfull!! 198 deaths and more than 1400 people injured.

They are not sure if this is done by Al Qaeda...
The government of Spain still thinks that the ETA (spanish basque national liberation movement) is "responsible", because of how it was put together.
In my country the Spanish ambassy has already raised their defense.

Yea i saw that and it just ruined my day. My family has had close ties with Spain over several years so that hit very close to home.

My grandma's parents were Spanish...

the sad thing is when my dad told me what happened I thought "oh, another terrorist attack... big news..." like if it was the most ordinary thing ever. Practically every week we have headlines like that... how freaky is that? and then, by the end of the afternoon when I started reading the news on the net, it hit me. I started thinking about those people, their families, the fear, the noise... I was devasted inside.

It's here on tv almost all of the day... the pics and clips on tv are awfull! :(

Today there was a false bomb-alarm on that same major train-station... so sick! What kind of joke is that? :mad1:
You saw people who were almost freakin' out because they had to travel by train! :(

Yea when I first heard it was after walking the dog. I turned on the PC and went outside with the dog. When I got back in, i saw it on my AOL welcome screen and immediately turned on the news. After that I was just sick to my stomach.

I saw that on the news, it's just shocking there is so much damage. I'm sick of this world, well the bad things that go on in it anyway
