The single, Open Your Eyes, does seem to be holding it's ground, but the singles chart includes radio airplay, and may not be a completely accurate way to account for how well the actual album is charting in retail sales.

The Billboard 200 (Issue Date for 10/16) has ODR at #95, and if I'm not mistaken, total album sales is just over 250,000, with 8 weeks on the chart.

Well, at least they are getting radio play, although I havnnt heard it on my station. If the single gets alot of play, or if people are buying the single, we may see a spike in the sale of ODR.

yeah, I think they might be referencing the fact that they don't expect ODR to outsell Metallica's eponymous album.

The Lithium 10-15-2004 10:57 AM

Of course it will!! :D

Rune 10-17-2004 03:03 PM

how much did the black album sell anyways?

The Lithium 10-17-2004 03:49 PM

Haha, NO idea, it's still a big seller!

creeddane 10-18-2004 03:10 AM

well billboard says 14 million in USA.....

creeddane 10-18-2004 03:11 AM

but still that isnt much compared to Back in Black by AC/DC : 20.000.000 copies
